calm me down...

went to my first book launch ever. arnold arre's book launch no less.

didn't care if i had only two hours of sleep. didn't care if it was raining crazy. didn't care if i still need to work later.

i had all my book/comics signed. he even commented on the fact that i have a copy of "trip to tagaytay" which they have stopped printing.

i don't consider myself a fanatic... but i do admire his works... maybe because i find him so sincere. dedicating all his work to his wife is just so romantic.

i was bragging my signed books at work. will continue to brag about it.

impromptu

twas supposed to be saturday. and twas supposed to be breakfast.

but we ended up meeting around 4:00 pm on sunday. originally, ria and i just wanna share secrets and dilemna. the normal girl chikahan. but my texting finger can't help but invite kid, paul and dyn, (among others).

twas supposed to be in libis, but we ended up in gateway.

we ended up watching skeleton key when twas supposedly "the truth about love"

we ended up eating in danny's grill when twas supposed to be yellow cab.

ria's supposed to buy new shoes and i ended up buying two pairs of eyeglasses.

there are a lot of things in life you don't plan but you end up doing. also, a lot of plans you made but ended up not doing. one of life's ironies.

moral lesson is, whenever you go out with my friends... be ready for surprises. they will bite you in your ass!

10 things

i have a few minutes to spare...

it's been a while since i last blogged... which is weird coz it has been the past few weeks that my life was its most exciting.

maybe its because subconsciously, i don't wanna be stripped naked on the net, figuratively, of course.

i consider myself a very open person. liberated, as my friends would interpret it. and usually, kunsintidor. :P

there are some things though, that id rather keep to myself.

however, there are still a lot of things that i would like to share:

1. am enjoying work even more.. less work, more pay.

2. am gonna take spanish lessons, in UP. back to school ang drama ng lola nyo!

3. enrolled in Center for Pop Music for drum lessons. I chose drums because i hate the basic note reading. I just wanna add a skill.

4.gonna venture into a business i hate. Sales! Pero ikaw ba naman itxt ng "Boinx, para sa mga pangarap natin!", do you have the heart to say no?

5. bought two pairs of glasses. astigmatism on my right eye. nerd mode.

6. wanna watch why dance? powerdance, why not? coconut. anyone wanna join me?

7. am planning on going to the mythology class compilation launch this friday, September 16, 2005 at the Fully Booked in Rockwell. again, anyone?

8. heaven n eggs. new fave resto.

9. my brother's Sigma Rho.

10. am turning 23 in 96 days.

 

mythology class

i have received an e-mail today saying that Adarna publishing will imprint Mythology Class!

am so darn excited to have that as part of my collection. i have been looking for the first part of that series since forever!

can't wait!
